Kate Head is a communications specialist with over 25 years of national and international experience in strategic planning, public education, message development and media campaigns.

 

She has successfully designed and implemented public information campaigns covering a wide range of economic, political and social issues around the world.

 

Head has comprehensive experience in NGO and government staff training, support and development.

She has trained government workers, political parties and civic organizations throughout the United States, the Russian Federation, Kosovo, West Bank and Gaza, South Africa, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Sudan, Cambodia, Montenegro, Egypt and Albania.

Head brings significant experience with US Congress Web sites, participating in heuristic reviews of over 200 sites. She also has worked closely with the non-profit community including heuristic reviews for the Council on Competitiveness, the Daughters of Charity and the Nigerian Government Business and Monitoring & Pricing Unit (BMPIU).

In addition to being a certified Usability Analyst, her education includes a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa.
